What we collect
We collect contact details, enquiry and job information, invoices and payment records, digital-product purchase details (name, email and order records via Gumroad), and — with your consent — photos or video for marketing. Our website may collect technical data such as IP address and cookies.
How we use your data
We use your data to respond to enquiries, provide quotes, deliver work, sell and deliver digital downloads, invoice, meet tax obligations, and — with consent — show completed projects. Lawful bases include contract, legal obligation and legitimate interest.
Who we share data with
- QuickBooks Online (invoicing)
- Google Workspace (email and calendar)
- Gumroad (digital-product checkout, payment processing and file delivery — we do not store your card details)
- Website host and form providers
- Subcontractors (job delivery only)
- Insurers (if a claim arises)
- HMRC or professional advisers when required by law
We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep data
Enquiries without a job: up to 12 months. Job, invoice and digital-product purchase records: at least 6 years for tax. Marketing media: until you withdraw consent.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or objection to processing. Email [email protected]. We respond within one month. You may complain to the ICO: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for the site to function. Analytics cookies are used only if enabled — you can manage cookies in your browser. Purchases completed on Gumroad are also subject to Gumroad’s privacy policy.
